The Chills are a rock band from New Zealand, formed in 1980 by singer-songwriter, Martin Phillipps.

They released their debut album, "Brave Words" in 1987, followed by: "Submarine Bells" (1990), "Soft Bomb" (1992), "Sunburnt" (1996), "Sketch Book: Volume One (released as Martin Phillipps)" (1999), "Somewhere Beautiful (live album)" (2013), "Silver Bullets" (2015), "Snow Bound" (2018), plus 2021's: "Scatterbrain".
