Fiorella Mannoia

"Fiorella Mannoia is an Italian singer. Starting young to work in the film industry as a stuntwoman (Non cantare, spara!) and stand-in for Monica Vitti (Amore mio aiutami). She made her debut in the music world in 1968 singing at the Castrocaro Music Festival. She also collaborated with Memmo Foresi on the album Mannoia Foresi & co.

She won two years in a row the Critics Prize at the Sanremo Music Festival. One in 1987 with Quello che le donne non dicono and in 1988 with Le notti di maggio.

In 1992 she released the pivotal album I treni a vapore contains the popular tracks Il cielo d'Irlanda by Massimo Bubola, Tutti cercano qualcosa by Francesco De Gregori."
