Hirax are an American thrash/ speed metal band from California, formed in 1984 and fronted by lead singer Katon W. De Pena.

Albums include the 1985 debut "Raging Violence", plus "Hate, Fear and Power" (1986), "The New Age of Terror" (2004), "El Rostro de la Muerte" (2009) and 2014's "Immortal Legacy".
