"Since 2009 Boris Charmatz has been the director of the Centre choregraphique national de Rennes et de Bretagne, which he proposes to transform into a new kind of museum of dance. He was also the Associate Artist of the 2011 Festival d'Avignon, and was invited at MoMA (NY) in 2013 and at Tate Modern in 2012. Charmatz made his daring and provocative Sadler's Wells debut in 2014 with the UK premiere of enfant, an intergenerational ensemble piece exploring the borders between the young and the old."
