National football team of India governed by the All India Football Federation.

The team has failed to qualify for the World Cup since 1986 but was runner-up to Israel in the 1964 AFC Asian Cup and champions of the 1951 and 1962 Asian Games and numerous South Asian Football Federation Cup competitions. They won the AFC Challenge Cup in 2008 and the Nehru Cup in 2012.
