Ballet commissioned for the Royal Ballet by Wayne McGregor.

"In 2013, the Royal Opera House will feature the world premiere of a new work by Royal Ballet Resident Choreographer Wayne McGregor - Raven Girl.

He will bring an innovative modern fairytale to the main stage, in collaboration with award-winning writer Audrey Niffenegger.

Also on the bill is one of Balanchine's best-loved ballets 'Symphony in C', based on Bizet's Symphony no.1."
