Critically acclaimed US rock outfit from California, formed in 1978 (as The Tourists) by brothers Jeff and Steve McDonald.

Redd Kross split in 1997, reforming seven years later with the brothers still at the band's core. Their debut album, released in 1982 was 'Born Innocent', the first of six pre-split LPs. After getting back together, they released a new album, 'Researching the Blues', in 2012.
