"Live from the Festival Hall at London's Southbank Centre on Monday 15 October, and on the eve of the 2012 Man Booker Prize announcement, this year's shortlisted writers will be reading and discussing their work in front of an audience.

The event will be chaired by one of the UK's favourite broadcasters, James Naughtie. The names of the participating authors will be revealed after the 2012 shortlist is announced on 12 September."
