Also known as Jane Jarboe or the Living Jarboe, Jarboe is an American singer-songwriter and keyboardist from New Orleans who found fame in the 1980s with the New York City-based outfit Swans.

Her debut solo album, the first of a number of self-released cassettes and albums, was 1994's 'Walls'.
