Modern Bop trio formed in 2007 when Stray Cat drumming legend, Slim Jim Phantom and UK Rockabilly guitarist, Darrel Higham met at a jam session in Wisconsin.

After releasing their debut album, 'Kat Men', the band split while Higham left to be lead guitarist for his wife, Imelda May. The band were reunited in 2011, along with bassist Al Gare.
