American musician and singer-songwriter from Washington, best known for her million-selling 1983 single 'Let the Music Play'.

Her debut album, also titled 'Let the Music Play', was released a year later and the first of three albums issued in consecutive years.

A 14-year break preceded the 2000 release of studio album No 4, 'The Best Is Yet to Come'.
