"Phil Cooper is the front man of southwest based, popular alt rock band The Haiku. Hailing from Trowbridge, Wiltshire and armed with only a guitar, Phil pens simple, uplifting ditties drawing a lot of influence from '90s shoegaze and indie rock. Vocally he comes across not far off Eels front man, Mark "E" Everett."
