Krusher, aka Steve Joule, first found fame as the Art Director of Kerrang! magazine (in 1982) and has been celebrated for a wide range of work including iconic sleeve designs for Iron Maiden, Hawkwind, Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne, among others.

In 1989, he began working as a DJ for the BBC with his show 'Krusher's Metal Mayhem' (broadcast on GLR).

In 1995, he formed the short-lived band WVKEAF, before continuing with his radio and presenting career. He has also hosted 'Krusher's Monday Metal Mayhem' on Total Rock FM.
