Pop singer-songwriter from Bratislava in Slovakia, who performs in Slovak, Czech, and English.

In the 1970s Žbirka formed two bands in Czechoslovakia, Modus and Limit, but went on to have his greatest successes as a solo artist. His debut solo album was 1980's 'Doktor Sen', the first of more than a dozen studio releases.
