Five-piece fronted by singer and songwriter Jennifer Herrema and formed, as RTX, in 2002 after Herrema left her first band Royal Trux.

After three album releases as RTX ('Rad Times Express'), the band rememerged as Black Bananas in early 2012 with a new album, called somewhat confusingly, 'Rad Times Express IV'.
