TV presenter, actress and singer who rose to fame in the late 70s by appearing as assistant to Larry Grayson on the Generation Game (popular TV show). Previously she had been voted Folk Singer Of The Year in 1971 by NME(!).

She continued with her singing career from 1993, recording several albums of traditional Scottish folk.

More recently she has presented evenings of wartime song and film-archives.
