"A very dark and bitter tragicomedy following the journey of two archetypal young Moroccan characters. Hadda is a young women whose history of abuse at the hands of a series of men lead her to a searching conversation with God and a terrifying decision about how she will respond to her oppression in the world. Interweaved with Hadda's story is that of Hassan who encounters a series of cliched situations, from interrogation to visa controls to impossible love, building a vivid picture of the pressures and constraints of living as a young Moroccan male today."
