American country music and gospel singer, best known for her 1968 country and pop hit 'Harper Valley PTA'. The album of the same name, her second, topped the US Country chart.

Riley has since released a further 20 or so albums and, in 1969, picked up the Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance for 'Harper Valley PTA'.
