Sekou Kouyate is an African musician and kora (African harp) player, now based in France.

With his band, Ba Cissoko, Kouyate has played all over the world and has self-styled himself as 'the Jimi Hendrix of Africa'. Sekou is a long-term collaborator with Joe Driscoll.
