- The Girl with the Iron Claws
Growing up isn't easy, especially when you're in love with a bear.
"This is a story about a girl who dares to follow her longing. The youngest daughter of a king, she feels like a misfit. Then one night a compelling dream leads her deep into the forest, where a chance encounter sets her on a fateful path she could never have anticipated.
The Wrong Crowd bring their distinctive style to a retelling of a powerful Nordic myth, which is usually known as "The White Bear King". As a story, its roots are the same as Beauty and the Beast, but this northern tale is more epic, more twisting and definitely more mysterious. With a rebellious and wilful female protagonist at its heart, who is determined to question the rules laid down for her and forge her own way
The show is very playful and magical, with lots of inventive theatricality, fantastic puppetry and music. It's great for adults and also for older kids, but maybe a little bit scary for anyone under 8"
