Hi-de-Hi [play]

Comedy play based on the hit TV series.

"Popular 1980s sit-com Hi-de-Hi! is set in Maplins Holiday Camp in the fictional seaside town of Crimpton-on-Sea. It was written by Jimmy Perry and David Croft, who also wrote Dad's Army and It Ain't Half Hot Mum, and is sure to be a hit with audiences.

The play revolves around the lives of the camp's management and entertainers and is loosely based on Butlins, but the redcoats are replaced with yellowcoats.

Hi-de-Hi! has been described as a summer pantomime and it certainly has something for everybody."
