Scottish professional snooker player who, in 1990 at the age of 21, became the game's youngest-ever World Champion.
Hendry went onto become one of the most successful figures in the sport's history and was snooker's world number one for eight consecutive years between 1990 and 1998.
In 1999, he won the World Championship for a record seventh time.
