Tenor banjo player from Ireland, now based in Edinburgh, who also plays mandolin, guitar, tenor guitar and national steel tenor guitar.

Coyne has played and toured with the Alison Brown Quartet including Celtic Connections, the Shetland Folk Festival and more.

He has also toured extensively with solo projects and with different bands all over the world. As well as performing and touring regularly with Salsa Celtica, he has in the past toured with Russell's House, Darthán, and Stockton's Wing.
