Spanish flamenco singer (or 'cantaor') from Jerez in Southern Spain. He is the great-grandson of 19th-century flamenco maestro Francisco Valencia.

He worked with the Trío Madrid, formed by Mario Maya, El Güito and Carmen Mora and, from 1973 to 1983 he joined the company of Antonio Gades.

In 1986 he won the Córdoba National Competition.
