British experimental outfit led by English alt-folk musician Douglas Pearce.
Initially part of the industrial scene of the early '80s, Death in June's debut album, the first of more than a dozen, was 1983's 'The Guilty Have No Pride'. Others include "Burial", "Brown Book", "Operation Hummingbird" and "Peaceful Snow/Lounge Corps".
