[1951 - 2010] Late Jamaican reggae superstar whose nicknames were The Cool Ruler and The Lonely Lover.

His releases were plentiful from 1968 onwards from his debut "Another Heartache" (with Winston Sinclair), up until 2008's final "Brand New Me".

Key albums and songs include his Virgin Front Line output such as "Cool Ruler", "Soon Forward" and the compilation "Lover's Rock", plus his classic 80's period of "Night Nurse" (inc. the title track), "Out Deh!" and "Red Rose For Gregory" (inc. "Rumours" and "Mind Yu Dis").
