French jazz pianist, composer, arranger and sometime actor from Cannes.
Since 1957, he has written music for over one hundred (mostly French) films, including 'Borsalino' (1970) and 'California Suite' (1978).
He has also enjoyed significant success with crossover collaborations with classical musicians, such as the hugely successful 'Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio' with Jean-Pierre Rampal.
