Jonas Kaufmann German operatic tenor best known for his performances as Don José in 'Carmen', Cavaradossi in 'Tosca' and the title role in 'Don Carlos'.

Kaufman, who now lives in Switzerland, is married to mezzo-soprano Margarete Joswig.
