Wynton Marsalis

Wynton Marsalis is an acclaimed American jazz trumpet player, composer and broadcaster born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1961.

In his career, Wynton has netted no less than nine Grammy awards. Wynton's family include many musicians, amongst them is the saxophonist Branford.

His vast catalogue includes his eponymous 192 debut album, plus "Think of One", "Hot House Flowers", "Black Codes (From the Underground)", "Thick in the South: Soul Gestures in Southern Blue, Vol. 1", "Blood on the Fields", "From the Plantation to the Penitentiary", "The Ever Fonky Lowdown" and 2021's: "The Democracy! Suite".
