Annual comedy awards event, first held in 1990. The BCAs have become the top award for all comedy programmes, performers and producers across the UK television industry.

The Awards, which take place in London, have been hosted by Jonathan Ross since 1991, except for 2008 which were hosted by Angus Deayton.
