The SYO is a group of three classical music ensembles for young people (up to 21) from Stockport.

Formed in 1956, the Orchestra is the Youth Partner of Manchester Camerata.

Renowned musicians Jennifer Pike and Nicholas Kenyon were both in the SYO.
