Scottish singer-songwriters Benny Gallagher and Graham Lyle. The pair met in 1959 in local band The Bluefrets, becoming Gallagher & Lyle in 1972.

Successful artists in their own right, Gallagher & Lyle songs have been recorded and released by artists including Bryan Ferry, Elkie Brooks, Fairport Convention, Phil Everly, Status Quo and Lemon Jelly.
