Tanita Tikaram is a German-born British singer-songwriter, best known for the hits "Twist in My Sobriety" and "Good Tradition" from her 1988 debut album, "Ancient Heart".
'Ancient Heart' and the follow up, 1990's "The Sweet Keeper", both reached No 3 on the UK album charts. They were followed by: "Everybody's Angel" (1991), "Eleven Kinds of Loneliness" (1992), "Lovers in the City" (1995), "The Cappuccino Songs" (1998), "Sentimental" (2005), "Can't Go Back" (2012), "Closer to the People" (2016), plus 2019's: "To Drink the Rainbow (An Anthology 1988-2019)".
