The Chap Olympiad

Annual day of themed sporting events, live music, sideshows and refreshments, hosted by The Chap magazine.

"Since its humble beginnings somewhere in the corner of a field in England (which we can't reveal for legal reasons), the Chap Olympiad has provided track, field and bar events for the floppy of hair, the rakish of trilby and the elegant of trouser.

True to the Chap style, the Olympiad is a sporting occasion for the chaps who were never picked for the school team, due to being too weedy and more preoccupied with composing epic poetry with a goose feather quill and testing out new cravat knots.

Designed to reward panache over sporting prowess, the events require minimum exertion and aim to separate the chaps from the cads. The gentlemen (and ladies!) compete to win the coveted bronze, silver and gold cravats or to take a self-congratulatory puff of the Olympiad pipe."
