Scarlette Fever

Karen Barrow is the singer-songwriter from Hertfordshire behind Scarlette Fever, who supported the likes of Mike & The Mechanics, Roachford, Caro Emerald and Sandi Thom.

Her debut single 'Crash & Burn', released in 2011, sailed straight onto the BBC Radio 2 B-list, and reached #2 on the Billboard Breakout Club Chart in the US.

Following her 2012's EP 'The Great Expectations', Scarlette Fever returns in 2013 with a brand new collection of songs, showcasing a more mature, full bodied sound. Highlights include 'Where's the Fun?' written on the frustrations of life's more mundane moments, the epic 'Piece Me Back Together', 6ft Woman (her take on addiction and the lies and manipulation that usually comes with it), and the heart-wrenching ballads 'Sunday Best' and 'Gin & Regrets', co-written with Steve Lironi (Bon Jovi). A new album is set for release later this summer.
