All female soul group formed in Chicago in 1968 by the three Hutchinson sisters. The Emotions were most successful in the disco era, with their single 'Best Of My Love' spending five weeks at No 1 in the US in 1977.

The Emotions also collaborated with Earth, Wind & Fire, most notably on their hit Boogie Wonderland.
