"A Fist Full of Love is a play with songs and tells the story of a woman who does not love herself and so turns on the woman she loves.

This is a story involving domestic violence within a lesbian relationship that takes us on a journey from self destruction to self discovery. It explores the question of a relationship being able to stand up to the twin pressures of jealousy and an embezzlement investigation.

Jealousy is insecurity; insecurity is not believing someone can love you even when they (say they) do. These traits result in Loren mentally and physically harming the one person she loves, Sam. The loathing Loren has for herself and the way in which her life is turning out, is projected onto her partner, destroying the both of them."
