[1946 - June 2023] John Hollins was a former professional footballer and (once) England international.

His key period ran from 1963 to 1983, playing over 400 games for Chelsea for the first 12 years, followed by stints at QPR and Arsenal. After retiring, he managed Chelsea (1985-88) and Swansea City (1998-2001) amongst others.

His son Chris Hollins is associated with TV sports presenting on BBC Breakfast, as well as Cash In The Attic.
