Multi-instrumentalist , songwriter and lyricist (but called a poet), who has been part of the Improvisation scene since the early 1960s and has played with most of the Luminaries of impro since the 60s.

Terry was also a co-founder of the People Band (1966-72) and original member of Ian Dury & Kilburn & The Highroads.

He worked extensively with Derek Bailey in the 70s and was a member of Alterations. He appeared in Mike Figgis film Stormy Monday playing drums with Krakow JAzz Ensemble.

Terry appears regularly with London Improvisers Orchestra conducting whilst poetising with lyrics."
