Sweet Jane are an Irish indie/rock band formed in 2008. They released their debut album, 'Sugar for My Soul' to superb reviews in 2010. The following year they toured America and Asia taking in major festivals such as SXSW in Texas, and Music Matters in Singapore, while the many festival appearances at home included Oxegen and Electric Picnic . Other highlights that year included being invited by Suede as guests on all three of their Olympia gigs in Dublin.

Sweet Jane are due to release their second album 'By the Ocean, By the Sea' in September 2013.

The current line-up consists of Danda Paxton, Neil Paxton, Ruairi Paxton, Conor Paxton and Donagh O Brien.
