Meat Beat Manifesto

Influential British industrial-breakbeat/dub and electronic-techno outfit originally founded by Jack Dangers and Jonny Stephens in 1987 in Swindon. They were previously in the band Perennial Divide.

Initially the band were part of the EBM/Industrial dance-scene with tracks such as "Dog Star Man" and "Storm The Studio", before incorporating dub and rave elements to their music.

Later key tracks include "Radio Babylon", "Helter Skelter", "Psyche Out", "Mindstream" and "Original Control (I Am Electro)". Remixes include The Shamen's "Hyperreal", Depeche Mode's "Rush" and Nine Inch Nails' "Closer" and "The Perfect Drug".
