Stoke-born stand-up dead-pan anti-comedian and occasional musician.

He crossed over to student audiences in the '80s due to releasing tracks on the then-cool Vindaloo label - tracks included "Rockin' With Rita", "(I'm Not) The Wanderer" and the "Man In a Suitcase" album.

Much of his early routines were ad-hoc and surreal while his newer material (since coming out of retirement in 2006), often features him wearing a vicar's collar!

In 2012 he issued a 'comeback' single, "Blues Fan".
