The Tubes

San Francisco-based flamboyant punk/new-wave band formed in 1973. Current line-up features: Fee Waybill, Roger Steen, David Medd, Rick Anderson and Prairie Prince.

Key songs include "White Punks on Dope", "Prime Time", "She's a Beauty", "TV is King" and "Don't Touch Me There".

They released their debut album, "The Tubes" in 1975, followed by: "Young and Rich" (1976), "Now" (1977), "Remote Control" (1979), "The Completion Backward Principle" (1981), "Outside Inside" (1983), "Love Bomb" (1985), plus 1996's: "Genius of America".
