"The Thistle features the classic sax quartet lineup of Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone.

The players come from a variety of backgrounds that span the worlds of both classical performance and jazz resulting in an exciting blend of musical styles.

The quartet came together in 2007 and since then has enjoyed performing for audiences throughout Scotland.

Members include Jim Mattear - Soprano, Jimmy Hastie - Alto, Bill Shaw - Tenor and Jon Ritchie - Baritone.
