Avant-garde/free-jazz guitarist/instrumentalist and composer from New York.

Active since 1980, much of his work is intricate, technical and occasionally heavy, with releases running into their dozens, including the solo "Tectonics", the group-led "In The Land Of The Yahoos" and String Quartet works such as "Twistmap".

He has collaborated with John Zorn, Christian Marclay and Terraplane amongst others.
