"Klay come from Exeter in deepest Devon the place we all go to for some piece and quite but simmering down there has been a band called Klay, perhaps it is the quite that has inspired them to create such a full on sound, packing in sound whenever a moment of stillness might have appeared in a normal composition. The band have created their music in layers with a base melody and then in various ways, splashed, sprayed or woven sounds in or over the top to enhance the feel of the simple melody, sometimes we have exquisate melodies woven together but on other songs it is like sharp objects have been jammed into the tapestry."
