A worldwide day created by the global organization The Hunger Project to raise awareness of world poverty and help fund poverty-ending projects.

The 2012 line-up included Dionne Warwick & Friends, Sir Cliff Richard, Caro Emerald, Boy George, Tony Hadley, Joe McElderry, Katie Melua, Alison Moyet, Mica Paris, Rumer, Sandie Shaw, Jumoke Fashola and London Community Gospel Choir with the full orchestra of Southbank Sinfonia.
