He has won numerous awards for his work, both solo and group, including the Les Victoires Du Jazz 2007 award for best album.

The 2009 project "Tetraband" was recorded with Josh Roseman, Seb Rochford and Ruth Goller (the latter from Acoustic Ladyland).
