London-born actor, writer, comedian and playwright, most famous for playing 'Neil' in the 80s TV-comedy series, "The Young Ones". He used the character to have a number-one hit in 1984, a cover of Traffic's "Hole In My Shoe".

He has written contributions for "The Comic Strip", "Blackadder", French and Saunders and "Hairspray".
