Play written by Pulitzer-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks and loosely-reminiscent of Nathaniel Hawthorne's "The Secret Letter".

The story concerns a homeless woman with a large family, living in New York. Her need for food and help from the very people she thought she could rely on, is quashed by disappointment.
